The Canon 1000D includes the EF-S 18-55mm IS
f/3.5-5.6, which includes 4-stop image stabilisation, ensuring superb
performance even in low-light conditions. It has taken about two years

The Canon 1000D
incorporates technologies in professional EOS-1 series cameras, like
the DIGIC III image processor, and Live View mode. The Camera is kitted
with a EF-S 18-55mm IS lens.
As with all EOS models, key
components for the Canon EOS 1000D are designed and manufactured in-house to work
with each other for the ultimate image quality. To protect images
against the effects of sensor dust, the camera includes the
